Material Planner and Production Scheduler

Overview

Production Planning Analyst responsible for planning production for manufacturing lines and supporting Sales and Operations Planning so that on-time delivery and customer service levels are achieved.

What you'll do

• Plan production for manufacturing lines, review and maintain manufacturing routings, and generate production plans and shop orders.
• Analyze requirements and plan capacity based on forecast, including what-if scenarios.
• Investigate and report on potential production problems.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and purchasing, and communicate with customer service to meet customer needs.
• Follow up with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet the production schedule and customer expectations.
• Utilize the ERP system to develop, track and maintain key metrics monitoring production performance, and report KPIs to site management.
• Set finished goods inventory goals, review new inventory requirements, and ensure compliance with existing inventory models.

What you'll need

• A university degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
• Holds self accountable to achieving goals and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
