Mathematician Intern

Overview

Assist the game development team in designing, analysing, and optimizing mathematical models for slot games, gaining hands-on experience in casino gaming game mathematics.

What you'll do

• Assist in designing and testing the mathematical logic for new slot games, including pay tables, game mechanics, and bonus features.
• Support the calculation and verification of the theoretical RTP, hit frequency, and volatility levels for slot games.
• Run simulations to ensure the mathematical accuracy of game models, including payout distributions and randomness.
• Assist in creating detailed game math specifications, flowcharts, and reports for game designs and regulatory submissions.
• Offer detailed analysis and explanation of mathematical models.
• Work closely with game designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure the mathematical integrity of slot games.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in mathematical tools and software such as Excel, C# or Python.
• Basic understanding of probability theory, combinatorics, and statistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills for presenting mathematical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Interest in casino games and game theory.
