Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer for wet seal systems, handling engineering review, calculations, documentation, and customer/operations technical support.

What you'll do

• Review order input data for auxiliary systems design, sizing, and selection.
• Prepare and review specification extracts and compliance/exception logs.
• Create or review engineering and submittal documents for wet seal systems.
• Develop calculations, work instructions, and instrument/utility/alarm documentation for wet seal systems.
• Support inspection test plan and Installation & operating Manual (IOM) creation per vendor requirements.
• Perform dimensional and design checks on drafting outputs for technical integrity.
• Respond to technical clarifications and attend customer meetings to resolve issues and agree on design.

What you'll need

• Fresh Diploma or degree in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge in SolidWorks for preparing assembly and component drawings.
• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge in basic calculations for topics such as structural analysis, flow, orifice, heat load, and pressure drop.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, self-driven, and willing to learn.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mechanical design and ANSI/API standards.
• Experience with rotating equipment, mechanical seals, and piping systems.
