Mechanical Engineer, Staff

Overview

Mechanical Staff Engineer responsible for architecture, development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex fluidic, structural, and electro-mechanical systems for semiconductor capital equipment.

What you'll do

• Own technical strategy, architecture, development, and lifecycle management for complex semiconductor equipment systems.
• Act as technical owner for critical products/subsystems, covering performance, reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, safety, and cost from concept through sustaining.
• Translate product/system requirements into subsystem architectures, detailed designs, technical specifications, and validation plans.
• Lead design and integration of fluid delivery systems, precision mechanisms, structural assemblies, and electro-mechanical components.
• Drive technical decisions using engineering analysis, simulation, trade studies, and risk assessments.
• Define and execute verification, qualification, and reliability strategies for compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor engineers across programs and global teams.

What you'll need

• B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in mechanical product development with demonstrated ownership.
• Strong product ownership mindset balancing technical, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
• Advanced mechanical fundamentals including CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, DfX, and reliability engineering.
• Expertise in fluidics, structural design, and electro-mechanical systems for architecture, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience applying structural, thermal, vibration, and flow analysis to product design decisions.
