Medical Writer, Medical Communications

Overview

Develop scientifically accurate, evidence-based medical communications content across formats including slide decks, manuscripts, and training materials. The role provides structured guidance for those without prior medical writing experience, while experienced writers work more independently.

What you'll do

• Draft and revise scientific content and visual representations.
• Interpret clinical and preclinical data.
• Conduct literature searches and organize references.
• Participate in internal and client meetings and capture action items.
• Incorporate reviewer feedback into deliverables.
• Track project tasks, timelines, files, and time using designated tools.
• Prepare materials for regulatory and editorial review.

What you'll need

• Doctoral-level degree in life sciences, such as PhD, PharmD, or MD.
• Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn AMA style and reference tools.

Details

• Remote role in the United States.
• Compensation range: $80,000–$110,000 USD annually.
• Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
