Overview
Merchandising Expert responsible for operational and analytical support for planogram creation and maintenance in METRO’s Global Solution Center across assigned markets.
What you'll do
- Support day-to-day planogram creation, maintenance, and execution for assigned markets.
- Maintain, validate, and update article, assortment, fixture, layout, and placement data in relevant systems and templates.
- Prepare and coordinate operational inputs, reports, and working files for planogram updates and stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor planogram status and implementation confirmations, escalating exceptions when required.
- Review planogram outputs and system updates to identify inconsistencies, missing inputs, or needed corrections.
- Support resolution of planogram and space planning exceptions with local market teams and other stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 4 to 7 years of experience in merchandising support, planogram operations, or retail design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Merchandising, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of planogram creation, shelf layout design, and space planning principles.
- Experience with planogram/space planning tools (e.g., Spaceman, Blue Yonder/JDA or similar).
- Hands-on Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders.
