Mid Market Account Executive

Overview

Mid-Market Account Executive on Datadog’s Mid-Market Sales team, targeting customers with 1,000 to 5,000 employees.

What you'll do

• Focus on net-new logo acquisition.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and on-site technical demonstrations.
• Identify robust business drivers behind opportunities.
• Prospect into CTOs, engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users (SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps).
• Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Partners, and Marketing to drive top-of-funnel activity.
• Apply modern sales strategy using tools Sales Navigator and Demandbase.

What you'll need

• Experience in hunting, strategically mapping, and breaking into net new logos.
• Strong pipeline generation skills.
• Ability to be bold in front of customers and creative in pursuits.
• Curiosity and motivation to understand emerging technologies and how they intersect with core business drivers.
• Be based in Bangalore.
• Willingness to travel within India for client site meetings and the wider APJ region from time to time.
• Ability to strategically multitask across different departments of a complex organization.
