Modernization Engineer

Overview

Modernization Engineer focused on designing and validating agile, cost-effective hosting solutions using Azure private and public cloud technologies, including legacy transformation and migration.

What you'll do

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance frameworks.
• Architect secure, scalable Azure networking including multi-region connectivity and hybrid connectivity.
• Lead Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments and modernization initiatives.
• Implement Azure security and identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and related services.
• Develop automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure DevOps, Bicep, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage integration services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Hub, and Data Factory.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience is required.
• 10+ years of IT Infrastructure and Cloud experience is stated.
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure Architecture and Implementation experience is stated.
• Educational qualification: 15 years full time education is required.
• Skills include Azure Infrastructure Architecture and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Architecture.
• Required areas include Azure Networking & Security, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Azure Landing Zones & Enterprise Architecture.
• Required tools/skills include Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, PowerShell, Bicep, and PowerShell.
