NetSuite Engineer

Overview

Support the lead engineer in deploying Global Business Travel countries onto the NetSuite platform, supporting ongoing enhancements, and leading end-to-end support activities.

What you'll do

• Support the lead engineer in market/business deployments of Global Business Travel countries onto the NetSuite platform.
• Support ongoing enhancements and lead end-to-end support activities.
• Take responsibility for the health and wellbeing of the application and resolve critical support issues as they occur.
• Take responsibility for end-to-end NetSuite customization, maintenance, and deployment of customizations.
• Be responsible for NetSuite application performance, product technical deployment, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with NetSuite, Dell Boomi, and various internal teams to come up with creative business solutions.
• Develop design specifications and deliver implementation/support documentation.
• Ensure technical design/implementation documentation is completed to a high standard, working with the functional analyst and lead engineer.
• Provide estimates for design, build, peer reviews, test, and implementation phases, ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained.
• Guarantee quality of software development and/or third-party software integration and testing.
• Manage (monitor and address) all development activity and be accountable for quality and adherence to technical, security, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate and drive onsite calls to ensure delivery timelines are met.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's of Technology in Computers or any other field, with 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with major ERP implementations.
• NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer.
• 3+ years of experience with the application integration layer and customization in the NetSuite SuiteCloud development platform: SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, SuiteFlows, SuiteAnalytics and SuiteTalk.
• Experience with NetSuite GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets.
• Solid experience delivering projects using agile methodology, and a strong believer in adding incremental value to the business in short sprints.
• HTML and JavaScript experience.
• Hands-on experience with XML/XSL and Web Services (UDDI, SOAP, WSDL).
• Technical background with hands-on experience in system architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks, and patterns.
• Experience with IDEs (such as Eclipse), source control systems, and HTML/JavaScript debugging tools.
• Strong communication skills and implementation experience.
• Well-rounded developer who understands functional requirements and is able to deliver technical results.
• Workflow development and configuration experience.
• Familiarity with IT transformation and experience managing business needs and requirements into IT deliverables.
• Hands-on, completes tasks, and dependable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd shifts (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends as required.
• Must be willing to work from the Bangalore office a minimum of 3 days per week.
