Overview
Network Support Engineer responsible for building, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure and related security, load balancing, and wireless services.
What you'll do
- Build and scale resilient, low-latency enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routing and switching platforms.
- Operate and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and software upgrades.
- Administer and troubleshoot F5 load balancers to ensure application availability.
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise wireless infrastructure including access points, controllers, and authentication services.
- Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues in a production, high-availability environment.
- Implement and maintain network automation using scripting and vendor APIs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise network support or engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms (IOS and NX-OS) and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including configuration of security policies and VPNs.
- Experience administering F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM and GTM).
- Strong wireless networking knowledge, including 802.11 standards and RF fundamentals.
Details
- Annual base salary range: $100,000-$150,000 (USD).
- Includes a 24x7 support model with on-call rotations.
