Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3)

Overview

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to lead network operations, with deep expertise in Cisco AAA, Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, Citrix load balancers, and Cisco ACI and SDN.

What you'll do

• Design, implement and optimize advanced network solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues.
• Provide level 2 support as the final point of escalation and run with issues until resolution.
• Troubleshoot traffic flows via underlay and overlay.
• Configure and optimize Cisco AAA servers.
• Manage and secure Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Oversee the deployment and management of Citrix Load Balancers.
• Implement and manage Cisco ACI and SDN solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network team.
• Assist with incident investigations through to timely resolution.
• Plan ahead and manage non-complex implementations.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and standards.
• Support rotation shifts plus 24/7 on-call support when needed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 4 years of hands-on experience on technology.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP.
• Expert-level hands-on experience of routing and switching on Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix and Cisco ACI devices.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI design, implementation and support, including tenant constructs, application network profiles, contracts, fabric access policies, extensions, and routing and policies.
• Working knowledge of Citrix and F5 load balancer products.
• Extensive experience with Cisco AAA servers.
• Advanced proficiency in managing Cisco Next Gen Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of Citrix Load Balancers.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI, SDx, Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of the ITIL framework and service management.
• Strong documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, PCNSE).
