New Business Account Executive

Overview

Drive Twilio Japan’s growth by acquiring new customers and developing strategies for target accounts. Work with marketing, digital sales, partner managers, system engineers and external stakeholders to win business.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute territory plans and account-winning strategies.
• Adjust plans and priorities to maximize new-customer results.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align goals and strategies.
• Forecast business and manage the sales funnel.
• Track pipelines and follow up using SFDC and supplementary tools.
• Represent Twilio’s corporate story to customers and external partners.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of combined high-touch sales experience.
• Experience working with business and highly technical leaders.
• A track record of business growth and strategy execution.
• Experience acquiring new business and customers.
• Experience delivering market-driven results for scale and enterprise customers.
• Business-level English proficiency is preferred for stakeholder collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with telecom companies, SMS aggregators, carriers or communications platforms.
• Software, SaaS, CPaaS or CCaaS experience.
• Cloud technology sales experience in IaaS, PaaS, virtualization or security.
• Experience with system integrators, resellers or value-added resellers.

Details

• Remote role based in Japan.
• Approximately 25% travel is anticipated.
