New Product Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

The New Product Manufacturing Engineer II Senior supports new product introduction and sustaining engineering for medium-complexity assemblies. The role manages product structures, engineering changes, manufacturing documentation, managed builds, and manufacturing issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Create and release part numbers, BOMs, configuration kits, and option packages.
• Maintain product attributes, specifications, documentation, and configuration integrity.
• Execute engineering changes and support configuration management activities.
• Develop and validate manufacturing build and test documentation.
• Lead managed builds and support manufacturing readiness.
• Drive root cause and corrective action activities for manufacturing issues.
• Provide technical support and process guidance to manufacturing teams, suppliers, and new team members.

What you'll need

• Experience with bill of materials and product structure management.
• Knowledge of part number creation, engineering release, and change control processes.
• Knowledge of configuration management and new product introduction.
• Experience with manufacturing documentation, managed builds, and floor support.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Basic knowledge of CAD, Digital Mock-Up, and virtual build processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
