NOC Engineer

Overview

NOC Engineer for the SS&C Eze RealTick EMS NOC team in Hyderabad. The role provides Tier 1 incident management and 24x7 monitoring support for critical systems in global data centers.

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 1 incident management support and monitor critical business systems.
• Execute and audit application, software upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Install, configure, and administer Windows operating systems and updates on servers.
• Monitor alerts round the clock, investigate alerts, and provide incident reporting.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues, and escalate as required following established protocol.
• Install and configure business applications and execute change requests for upgrades/configurations.
• Initiate and drive incident calls during major outages and analyze operational data models.

What you'll need

• 3-4 years of NOC/command center/remote data center operations experience, including troubleshooting.
• 1-2 years of MS Windows software support experience.
• Experience with application/IT infrastructure monitoring in a customer service setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and complete projects as scheduled.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Prefer knowledge of Active Batch (or another job scheduling tool), Nagios/Logic Monitor, Windows patching/hotfixes, and Active Directory.
