Operations Intern

Overview

Operations Intern supporting Managed Services day-to-day operations for hedge funds and asset managers on the Enfusion platform.

What you'll do

• Assist with reconciliation by matching internal records to custodian, broker, and bank statements.
• Log discrepancies for the team to investigate.
• Record investor inflows, redemptions, corporate actions, and trade bookings into Enfusion.
• Support daily trade affirmation workflows across CTM, NYFIX, and Traiana.
• Shadow daily NAV and monthly trial balance reconciliation processes.
• Help prepare operational reports and track delivery status for daily and monthly operations.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Business Management, or related quantitative field).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables).
• Basic understanding of financial statements, general ledger accounting, and corporate actions’ impact on valuations.
• Intermediate understanding of fixed income and equity investments, plus basic knowledge of alternative securities.
• Familiarity with how NAV is calculated daily and the trade settlement lifecycle (e.g., clearing, custodian communication, T+1 settlement).
• Hyper-attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.
