Oracle Tuxedo Administrator – Officer

Overview

Manage, support, and optimize Oracle Tuxedo middleware environments running on Linux/Unix platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, performance tuning, and high-availability operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain Oracle Tuxedo environments.
• Perform startup, shutdown, deployment, and configuration activities.
• Monitor application health, server performance, and middleware infrastructure.
• Analyze logs to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform performance analysis and tune Tuxedo services and middleware components.
• Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions.
• Participate in change management, production releases, CI/CD, and DevOps initiatives.

What you'll need

• Oracle Tuxedo administration experience.
• Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Bash or Korn shell scripting skills.
• Oracle Database fundamentals.
• Application deployment and release management knowledge.
• Experience with Tuxedo command-line utilities, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of middleware performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Nice to have

• Oracle WebLogic experience.
• Oracle Tuxedo SALT or Tuxedo Domain Gateway configuration experience.
• Message Queuing (Tuxedo/Q) experience.
• Python or Perl scripting skills.
• Autosys, Control-M, or enterprise scheduling tool experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
