Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Overview

Design, configure, develop, and support Axway API Management integrations connecting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and external systems.

What you'll do

• Design and implement REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Configure API policies, routing, security settings, and data transformations.
• Support Axway API Gateway components and API lifecycle processes.
• Troubleshoot API failures, connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, architecture, and business teams.
• Improve API performance, reliability, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members on Axway tools and integration practices.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience; 6 years specifically in the Axway API Management Platform.
• Strong proficiency in Axway API Management, including API Gateway and API Manager.
• Experience with API lifecycle management, monitoring, governance, and operational support.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, OAuth, certificates, and encryption.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, middleware, and cloud integration architectures.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, XML schemas, HTTP protocols, and web services.
• 15 years of full-time education.
