Patient Acct Res Spec

Overview

Provide patient-focused account support for healthcare equipment coverage and reimbursement. The role serves patients, providers, branches, and field teams through account research, documentation review, outreach, and follow-up.

What you'll do

• Review new and recurring patient accounts for required billing documentation.
• Research and secure information needed to continue equipment coverage.
• Conduct outreach with field leadership, referral sources, and patients to resolve accounts.
• Evaluate documentation against compliance criteria and standards.
• Follow up to achieve timely reimbursement.
• Identify complaint trends and recommend preventative measures cross-functionally.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare or health insurance.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word.
• English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate mathematical proficiency for interpreting and developing spreadsheet data.
• Ability to occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Hourly salary range of $18–$25.
