Patient Strategy AWS Tech Lead role at Roche focused on leading medium-to-large initiatives and designing end-to-end AWS data solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain end-to-end data solutions on AWS.
• Develop scalable data models, pipelines, and workflows in AWS.
• Ingest, transform, and manage large datasets into AWS and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Coordinate other team members/contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Lead complex multi-service solution design and set architectural consistency.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex AWS/cloud-native solutions and mentoring senior engineers.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and RDS/DynamoDB.
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm experience.
• Experience designing REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework for HA, DR, and multi-region active-active deployments.
