Payroll Lead

Overview

Lead end-to-end payroll operations and workforce compliance for employees in India and the UAE. Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Total Rewards, and external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll and improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Lead monthly India and UAE payroll, including inputs, processing, and bank funding.
• Validate attendance, leave, variable pay, incentives, reimbursements, and settlement inputs.
• Review payroll registers, variance reports, CTC, and reconciliation files.
• Manage payroll provider performance through benchmarks and audits.
• Lead statutory filings, payroll returns, audits, MIS, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Administer Darwinbox payroll configuration, access, integrations, and automation.
• Resolve employee payroll, tax, benefits, payslip, and salary-document queries.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• End-to-end India payroll and statutory compliance experience.
• Working knowledge of UAE and India payroll practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• Experience with GreytHR, Keka, ADP, or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong Excel and data-reconciliation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Payroll or labour law certification such as CPP or an India payroll compliance certification.
• Darwinbox experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity, global SaaS, or technology environment.
