Payroll Specialist, EMEA (6-Month Fixed-Term Contractor)

Overview

Payroll Specialist for EMEA, responsible for running and maintaining payroll operations and related invoicing, reporting, and client/internal query handling for European countries.

What you'll do

• Maintain payroll systems and process paychecks according to schedule and correct amounts.
• Enter payroll data into payroll databases and calculate total cost of employment.
• Review, check, and approve payroll runs and salary registers for the European region.
• Generate invoices monthly within the HRIS system based on payroll data and share with clients.
• Summarize and report on payroll data and address client queries on payroll and invoicing.
• Stay up to date with European employment tax regulations and apply them for compliant payroll processing.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role focused on European payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, employer burden, and pension contributions for European countries.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Excellent communication skills for handling client queries and collaborating internally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
