Pitch Bearing Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Design Engineer responsible for shaping and leading pitch bearing design activities for the OneWind organization across strategy, validation, cost, and fleet support.

What you'll do

• Provide senior design expertise and lead FEA analysis for pitch bearing components.
• Own design support strategy for NPI, RCA/Quality, validation, and total lifecycle cost initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to shape rotor and turbine lifecycle cost strategy.
• Own MGPP strategy and identify initiatives to drive site-specific customer value with pitch bearings.
• Shape cost-out strategy through component, subsystem, and system-level redesigns.
• Own and shape testing strategy to resolve validation/field issues and PAC activities.
• Champion GD&T standards and mentor others on technical drawings and specifications.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Structural/ Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and resolve the most complex problems.
• Experience with GD&T and fundamental technical drawing guidelines.
• Evidence of independently developing, interpreting, and setting standards for technical drawings and specifications.
• Established project management skills to develop execution plans and originate new projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leading/influencing skills to lead with minimal oversight.
