Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for product engineering, order engineering, and inquiry/quote support for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) valves, including design, validation, and testing.

What you'll do

• Complete product engineering and product initiative design tasks.
• Provide order engineering support for ETO valve inquiries and quotes.
• Conduct R&D and DtV project engineering work to meet time and budget.
• Design, model, and detail industrial control valves and pneumatic actuators.
• Own design validation and testing based on product and order requirements.
• Provide quote and technical support to Com Ops team and project stakeholders.
• Train and develop associate engineers and support engineering KPIs/KQIs.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years in core valve design and development.
• Or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 12 years in core valve design and development.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in industrial valve design (rotary or linear valves).
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools including Solidworks, Ansys, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, and ISO standards.
• Experience preparing BOMs with Oracle/SAP or other ERP (added advantage).
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and corrective action planning.
