Power electronics Graduate Trainee engineer

Overview

Onsite Graduate Trainee engineer focused on hands-on testing and validation of high-voltage power converters and supporting power electronics troubleshooting and reporting.

What you'll do

• Perform hands-on testing and validation of high-voltage power converters up to 800V across AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC topologies.
• Run power converter tests using lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and insulation testers.
• Execute tests covering electrical performance, thermal behavior, EMI/EMC pre-compliance, and reliability with support to lead.
• Troubleshoot power stage failures and support root cause analysis with design engineers.
• Document test results and generate technical reports for cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of power converter topologies and circuit operation.
• Practical knowledge of testing methods and lab instrumentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills plus documentation ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Typically requires a university degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
