Bridge Engineer

Overview

As a Bridge Engineer at AFRY, you’ll work on structural design and calculations for bridges and other civil engineering structures.

What you'll do

• Perform structural calculations for steel and concrete structures.
• Carry out load-bearing calculations of existing bridges.
• Create FE models for bridge/civil engineering design work.
• Write design reports.

What you'll need

• Have a B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Have +5 years of relevant experience in structural calculations for bridges/civil engineering.
• Demonstrate good written and verbal English at CEFR level B1 (minimum).

Nice to have

• Experience working with the Swedish Transport Administration.
• Experience with Tekla, AutoCad, Grasshopper, and Sofistik.
• Experience working abroad, especially in the Nordics.
