Power Platform & Automation Architect

Overview

Power Platform & Automation Architect to provide hands-on architecture, governance, and engineering leadership for Microsoft Power Platform governed services.

What you'll do

• Lead and support Microsoft 365 collaboration, productivity, automation, and employee experience use cases.
• Define governed patterns, design standards, ALM approaches, and reusable services for Power Platform solutions.
• Develop and enforce environment strategy, connector governance, lifecycle controls, and operational support for Power Apps/Automate/Dataverse.
• Partner with IT product owners and platform teams to ensure standards across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and related collaboration platforms.
• Design Power BI integration patterns aligned with enterprise data governance standards.
• Establish maker enablement and Center of Excellence practices, including reusable templates, training, assessment, and adoption monitoring.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, digital workplace, collaboration platforms, application architecture, or enterprise IT solutions.
• Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, including solution design and security roles.
• Experience defining and operating a Power Platform environment strategy including development/test/production and business unit environments.
• Strong understanding of connector governance, data loss prevention policies, and secure connectivity patterns across Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise data sources.
• Strong application lifecycle management experience for Power Platform including managed/unmanaged solutions and release governance.
• Strong scripting and automation capability using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform administration modules, Azure PowerShell, or Azure CLI.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification or equivalent.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification or equivalent experience integrating Power BI with Power Platform and Dataverse.
• Microsoft 365, Azure governance/security/identity/data integration/automation certifications.
• TOGAF/ITIL/Agile delivery/product management/Center of Excellence leadership certification.
