Presales Architect

Overview

Presales Architect role focused on designing complex proposals and delivering technical solution value for customers. The job is Hybrid, requiring about 2 days per week from an HPE office in Mumbai.

What you'll do

• Orchestrate the design of complex proposals and communicate tangible business value to customers.
• Critical review proposals using market intelligence to translate functional views into technical views.
• Lead team efforts to develop and present outcome-based solution designs for customer business challenges.
• Drive account planning and facilitate deep-dive discussions to understand business needs and advocate technical strategies.
• Identify technical solution trade-offs, risks, and remediation options.
• Nurture active deals by monitoring the account pipeline and using pipeline insights to prioritize activities.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of technical experience in IT focused on technical consulting and solution selling.
• 2+ industry standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience expected.
• Experience leading solution configurations and overall architecture design.
• Experience creating, managing, and positioning demos and proofs-of-concept (POC).
• Mastery of written, verbal, and nonverbal executive communication skills, including communication in English and applicable local languages as needed.
• Mastery of sales cycle, funnel management, reporting, and TCO/ROI concepts including financial models.
