Presales Solutions Architect - Digital Workplace Services

Overview

Presales solution architect supporting an assigned client base with solution design, bid input and technical documentation for Digital Workplace Services.

What you'll do

• Provide presales solution architecture services for an assigned client base.
• Provide technical input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents within the sales process.
• Contribute to or prepare high-quality technical documentation, including proposals, RFP responses and solution architecture diagrams.
• Contribute to or make decisions about how solutions should be designed and implemented.
• Support the development of cost elements and resource estimates as well as solution models.
• Demonstrate Unisys products and solutions for clients, remotely or onsite.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the industry and competitors and act as a valuable resource for sales team members, clients and other stakeholders.
• Work with clients to perform implementation reviews and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical or procedural challenges.
• Provide technical feedback on equipment, systems and processes to improve overall sales performance and service delivery.
• Adhere to appropriate Unisys processes, architectural artifact requirements and the Unisys end-to-end service model.

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong expertise in Service Desk, Field Services and Desk-Side Support.
• Strong expertise in End User Computing (EUC).
• Strong expertise in Workplace Support Services.
• Strong expertise in Managed Services.
• Solution architecture and consulting.
• Proposal development and bid management.
• Participation in RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
• Costing and pricing models.
• Executive-level presentation and communication skills.
