Principal AI Engineer

Overview

Lead the strategy, architecture, governance, security, and operations of an enterprise Agentic AI Platform. Build scalable platform capabilities for AI agents, LLM services, orchestration, observability, and responsible AI.

What you'll do

• Define the platform vision, roadmap, and operating model.
• Design orchestration layers for agent communication, planning, memory, and tool integration.
• Manage enterprise LLM services, model lifecycles, performance, reliability, and costs.
• Implement AI governance, responsible AI, auditability, and compliance frameworks.
• Establish AI security controls for access, data leakage, prompt injection, and model abuse.
• Lead platform monitoring, SLAs, incident management, and operational improvement.
• Lead and mentor AI platform, MLOps, security, and administration teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML platforms, cloud platforms, or enterprise platform management.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering or platform teams.
• Experience building and operating enterprise AI/ML platforms.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, API gateways, MLOps, and AI operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI Agents.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, AI governance, Responsible AI, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
