Principal AI Engineer — ML / MLOps Platform Architect

Overview

Lead the architecture, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and model platform capabilities across Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure cloud platforms.

What you'll do

• Own enterprise strategies for foundation, frontier, and custom AI models.
• Architect model lifecycle management and automated ModelOps/MLOps pipelines.
• Design agentic AI architectures, multi-agent orchestration, and AgentOps standards.
• Build AI gateways, model routing frameworks, and centralized observability capabilities.
• Develop AI platform services for model serving, inference, vector search, RAG, and semantic retrieval.
• Design secure, scalable GPU-enabled infrastructure for training, fine-tuning, and inference.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead architecture reviews and technology evaluations.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, AI platform engineering, or cloud architecture.
• 5+ years leading enterprise AI/ML platform implementations.
• Production experience deploying and operating large-scale AI, LLM, and agentic AI solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure cloud platforms.
• Expertise in MLOps, ModelOps, cloud architecture, and platform engineering.
