Overview
Principal Analog Engineer (Individual Contributor) focused on power management IC (PMIC) design and technical leadership with 15+ years of analog development experience.
What you'll do
- Lead design and development of power management ICs, including voltage regulators and power converters.
- Own end-to-end IC design from specifications to PRA.
- Architect the IC by breaking down system/chip-top requirements into block-level specifications.
- Integrate complex inputs (e.g., charge pumps, source-sink LDOs, oscillators, sensors, ADCs, protection, and other analog blocks).
- Develop and compensate control loops to meet target performance using switching-converter architectures.
- Perform silicon debug, root-cause analysis, and design-to-silicon correlation.
- Guide analog/FET layout and noise isolation work from floor planning through chip top completion and verification.
What you'll need
- 15+ years of experience in analog circuit design.
- Must have led development of multiple power ICs with switching converters from system specifications to production.
- Must be proficient in designing complete switching converters and the involved inputs.
- Must have in-depth understanding of switch-cap circuits.
- Must have experience choosing/designing and compensating control loops for target performance.
- Must have done multiple silicon debugs with root cause analysis and design-to-silicon correlation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru, KA, India.
- No people management; role is product development-focused.
