Overview

Principal Engineer Assy Equipment & Process leads assembly equipment engineering leadership and equipment strategy across assembly manufacturing operations, with a focus on reliability, operational excellence, and AI-enabled digital transformation.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team across assembly equipment engineering operations.
• Drive equipment reliability improvements including uptime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and cost-of-ownership.
• Ensure equipment readiness for NPI, technology transfers, and product ramps.
• Implement continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
• Develop and execute an Assembly Equipment AI Enablement strategy for predictive maintenance and intelligent automation.
• Evaluate and deploy Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technologies (e.g., IoT and Digital Twin).

What you'll need

• 12+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing equipment engineering organizations.
• Strong experience in assembly manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related).
• Experience with MES, FDC, SPC, APC, and manufacturing intelligence platforms.
• Proven track record leading large engineering teams and factory-wide initiatives.
