Principal HVAC Engineer

Overview

Principal HVAC Engineer to lead and deliver complex HVAC design and technical work, including technical reviewing, governance adherence, and client-facing presentations.

What you'll do

• Produce innovative solutions and deliver clear, detailed technical documents.
• Take a technical lead or Subject Matter Expert role within the discipline.
• Provide Safe by Design leadership and review risk elimination/mitigation/controls approach.
• Function as a Discipline Technical Reviewer on medium technical risk projects.
• Present technical work (yours and colleagues') to clients.
• Act as a Technical reviewer/signatory on low/medium-risk projects and bids.

What you'll need

• Ensure technical governance structures and processes are adhered to.
• Develop and promote technical capability of the team/business (e.g., papers, case studies).
• Understand management processes for technical integration and analytical/investigative approaches.
• Understand principles of assurance and compliance as defined in the relevant industry environment.
• Have knowledge of the importance and relevance of technical interface management.
• Provide complete technical guidance to teams with minimal guidance from above.
