Principal Product Manager

Overview

Principal Product Manager for agentic investigation and reliability experiences that help engineers and operators move from operational and security telemetry to faster, evidence-based resolutions.

What you'll do

• Own the current data and reliability data experiences, including log search, live tail, queries, metrics search, tracing, dashboards, and the data-experience UI.
• Own reliability and alerting capabilities such as monitors, alerts, SLOs, scheduled searches, and related workflows.
• Define how users progress from search/monitor/dashboard/alert to likely cause with supporting evidence.
• Set a multi-quarter vision and roadmap for investigation and reliability experiences that engineering can execute against.
• Shape evolution from human-navigated tools to AI-assisted investigation experiences.
• Own alerting accuracy, noise reduction, and operational health signals, including foundations for automation.
• Create PRDs/proposals/user stories/acceptance criteria and phased rollout plans, and use telemetry to find friction and issues.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of product management experience with real observability or monitoring domain background.
• First-hand observability knowledge across logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLOs.
• Experience owning roadmap/health/competitiveness of shipping observability/monitoring surfaces.
• Familiarity with AI/agents changing data interaction, including natural-language investigation and human-in-the-loop action.
• Strong technical instincts around query engines, time-series and trace data, and alerting systems.
• Comfort using telemetry, dashboards, SQL, and usage data to understand adoption, friction, reliability, and cost.
• High ownership and drive in a large, ambiguous, fast-moving surface.
