Principal Product Manager

Overview

Principal Product Manager to lead Zendesk’s Action Platform, used to connect, build, and orchestrate automations across Zendesk and other systems.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert to understand customer needs (internal and external).
• Set and articulate vision and a roadmap for the Action Platform.
• Drive execution of new capabilities and enhancements with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Translate requirements from multiple internal consumers and customers into platform solutions.
• Advocate for a user-centric approach and collaborate on intuitive UI when needed.
• Define OKRs and success metrics, and review performance against them.
• Scale services to manage thousands of rule executions with minimum impact on infrastructure.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of product management experience delivering products that met business goals.
• Experience in customer-focused SaaS and designing/shipping full-stack and APIs.
• Ability to understand complex systems and balance tradeoffs between performance, cost, and user experience.
• Strong communication skills for customers, engineering, marketing, program management, and executives.
• Ability to use analytics tools to measure success.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers to find solutions.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Hybrid work model with part of the week in local office; schedule set by hiring manager.
• Must be physically located in Karnataka or Maharashtra.
