Principal Product Manager - Knowledge Bases & Ask AI

Overview

Lead long-term product strategy and platform architecture for HighLevel Knowledge Bases and Ask AI, a grounded intelligence layer for dependable AI interactions.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, roadmap, and platform architecture.
• Own the complete Ask AI experience across chat, voice, memory, templates, tasks, tools, actions, and lifecycle management.
• Own the Knowledge Base platform from ingestion through retrieval, citations, freshness, versioning, testing, permissions, and observability.
• Establish product principles for grounded answers, tool/agent selection, approvals, execution, failures, and results communication.
• Create a shared context model spanning identity, permissions, business profile, memory, Knowledge Bases, and previous tool outputs.
• Develop evaluation architecture and test datasets, and set quality/outcome metrics across the funnel.
• Partner cross-functionally (AI/engineering, platform/infrastructure, Security/Legal/Privacy/Trust, Finance, Sales/GTM, Support) to deliver trusted, scalable AI product experiences.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of product management experience owning complex B2B SaaS or AI-platform products.
• Experience defining strategy across multiple teams with measurable customer and commercial outcomes.
• Experience building production AI products combining answers, context, tools, workflows, and actions.
• Technical fluency across retrieval, ingestion/parsing, embeddings/vector search, re-ranking/source attribution, and knowledge freshness lifecycle management.
• Strong systems thinking connecting identity, permissions, agency/location context, CRM data, Knowledge Bases, memory, tools, workflows, and billing/reporting.
• Strong judgment around AI evaluation, including how retrieval, answers, plans, tools/actions, artifacts, and memory are tested and monitored.
