Overview
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML-powered security applications. Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and deliver scalable enterprise security solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop organization-wide software system architectures and methodologies across platforms.
- Evaluate technologies and outsourced development partnerships against technology roadmaps.
- Create integration and technology update plans.
- Review designs and project activities for standards compliance and product quality.
- Influence technical decisions with business leaders, partners, and standards groups.
- Mentor less-experienced staff in software systems design and development.
What you'll need
- Typically 15+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, cloud, MLOps, large language models, and agentic AI.
- Understanding of AI security, responsible AI, and governance frameworks.
- Experience designing, threat modeling, and implementing secure SDLC workflows.
- Hands-on MERN stack and Python development experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitOps, Docker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Nice to have
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
- Multiple patents or deployed software design solutions.

- Hybrid role requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
