Principal Software Architect-AI

Overview

Principal Software Architect-AI to lead AI/ML initiatives for unified communication products, from strategy and architecture through production deployment and operational monitoring.

What you'll do

• Lead software engineering, machine learning, and data science teams to deliver AI/ML-powered features on time.
• Set team priorities, allocate resources, manage project timelines, and maintain quality.
• Define AI/ML technical strategy, architecture, and an integration roadmap across the product suite.
• Oversee the AI/ML lifecycle including data collection, model training, MLOps, deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Ensure engineering best practices including code review, unit testing, CI/CD, and secure coding.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and an AI/ML roadmap.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role overseeing AI/ML or data-intensive engineering teams.
• Deep practical experience with end-to-end production machine learning operations (MLOps).
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java/C++, plus familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Scikit-learn.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native AI architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
