Overview
Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery for a large-scale enterprise SaaS platform, including secure, scalable serverless systems on AWS and integrated AI capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and delivery of secure, scalable, serverless applications on AWS using TypeScript/Node.js.
- Define and evolve platform architecture to drive modernization, performance, resilience, and maintainability.
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems using AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, and EventBridge.
- Shape AI-enabled solutions with governance, observability, and responsible AI practices.
- Own infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence technical decisions while communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Extensive experience building secure, production-grade software systems (typically 12+ years).
- Proven track record architecting and delivering cloud-native, serverless applications on AWS.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and REST API design.
- At least one modern front-end framework experience (Angular or React).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and data stores including Aurora, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation), plus Docker and modern CI/CD.
