Principal - Software Engineer

Overview

Principal Software Engineer responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the SDLC across full stack, front-end, and back-end development, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

What you'll do

• Conceptualize and implement financial technology solutions.
• Make strategic decisions to improve system scalability, security, and performance.
• Define coding, testing, and automation standards and drive defect/performance issue resolution using AI/ML tools.
• Lead design and provide inputs on architecture and delivery of transformative applications.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for high-quality, scalable delivery.
• Provide technical on-call support and respond to incident inquiries.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve UI/UX using user feedback.

What you'll need

• 13-15 years of work experience in related fields covering SDLC across full stack, front-end/back-end, and UI/UX engineering.
• Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Cloud certification: AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud - Cloud Digital Leader.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Proficiency with Java and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (including Azure Functions and Azure SQL).
• Experience with AWS and front-end frameworks such as React.js or Angular, plus Flutter.
