Principal Software Engineer - Fullstack

Overview

Principal Software Engineer (Full Stack) to build and maintain Fidelity’s Global Compliance platform for Asset Management.

What you'll do

• Code and guide the team supporting the Compliance platform.
• Drive design, development, and ongoing support for compliance reporting capabilities.
• Provide technical direction for building solutions with a distributed team.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, and code and design reviews.
• Implement solutions aligned with technology blueprint and standard methodologies.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with matured Agile practices.
• Software engineering excellence with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and Acceptance Test Driven Development.
• Proficiency with Java (1.7 or higher), Python, Spring framework, REST, Angular JS, Oracle SQL, Git, and Maven/Jenkins.
• Ability to apply design principles for scalable, low-latency, high-throughput distributed applications.
• Domain expertise in functional/technical areas of focus (asset management is an advantage).
