What you'll do

• Oversee professional development, performance management, and career progression of direct reports.
• Define and align the team’s technical roadmap and execution strategy for timely delivery.
• Lead hiring, including interviewing and onboarding, to scale the engineering team.
• Build and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java Spring and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and guide expert technical execution.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of progressive professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience managing an engineering team of at least 10 members.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and extensive expertise with the Spring Framework.
• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Substantial experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
