Overview

Associate role in private markets and alternatives operations focused on reconciliation, settlement, exception management, documentation review, and client service for middle office clients.

What you'll do

• Support private markets and alternatives operations across reconciliation, settlement, and exception management.
• Investigate and resolve cash, position, and transaction discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate Investment Book of Record (IBOR) data and integrity through collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Facilitate settlement processes across instruments including syndications, secondary trades, CLOs, restructurings, private markets, infrastructure debt, renewable power, and real estate debt.
• Interpret and analyze complex legal documentation to extract actionable operational insights.
• Lead process automation and control enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency and mitigate operational risk.
• Review documentation and support management initiatives while maintaining required documentation.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of experience in loan operations or similar settlements, reconciliations, and documentation-driven transactions.
• Understanding of private credit, real assets, and project finance.
• Exceptional communication and client service skills for relationship building.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking and investment management and experience in alternatives such as private credit and bank loans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications; loan-centric systems familiarity is advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of trading instruments and settlement processes.
• Ability to perform in high-volume, high-risk environments with minimal margin for error.
