Overview
Associate role in Bangalore focused on supporting regulatory reporting for EMIR/SFTR and NoA, ensuring accurate daily reporting across asset classes.
What you'll do
- Support regulatory reporting processes and data flows as a subject matter expert.
- Manage exception handling and ensure data accuracy on a daily basis.
- Compile Management Information Systems (MIS) and support regulatory reporting quality.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address audit findings and regulatory queries.
- Identify control gaps and collaborate with technology teams to remediate them.
- Monitor regulatory updates and assess impact on existing reporting frameworks.
- Perform root cause analysis and escalate significant issues through appropriate channels.
What you'll need
- 5–7 years’ work experience in an ops role in financial services.
- Graduation in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Regulatory experience including EMIR & SFTR and NoA (preferred).
- Experience in Middle Office/Back Office, Reference Data, and strong trade life cycle exposure across at least 2 asset classes.
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and control weakness identification.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Conceptual understanding or practical experience with AI/automation tools (e.g., scripting, basic automation platforms).
