Process Quality Engineer - Chiller QC

Overview

Full-time Process Quality Engineer role focused on Chiller quality control at the Sricity location, ensuring process quality, audits and continuous quality improvement in HVAC and chiller manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain the highest level of quality through patrol quality checks.
• Execute the daily Quality checklist to ensure all processes are in place.
• Conduct process audits to ensure correctness of data capture at each Quality Gate.
• Manage the non-conforming material management process.
• Compile process quality data and MIS reports.
• Follow QAPs and certify processes.
• Solve problems for defects identified on assembly lines and monitor them, and drive Q circles.
• Lead process improvement projects that result in quality product.
• Issue test certificates to customers as required.
• Execute Quality Assurance project plans and processes to continuously improve overall quality.
• Review and recommend Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies and processes to achieve quality targets.
• Provide production process analysis, ensure quality standards are met, and recommend quality improvements.
• Collect and analyze quality information to develop quality strategy and programs.
• Review and analyze quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically 4–8 years of experience in HVAC, chiller manufacturing, or related engineering operations.
• Experience in process quality.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
