Overview
Own UX architecture, design system, and in-product visual identity for a gamer-native commerce and payments product.
What you'll do
- Own UX architecture across app and web, including information architecture, navigation, user flows, and edge cases.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system with tokens, component library, responsive grid, dark mode, and dev handoff documentation.
- Shape the visual identity in-product through a color system, typography, iconography, illustration style, and motion principles.
- Partner with Product and Engineering each sprint on spec reviews, prototypes, design QA, and analytics-driven iteration.
- Iterate based on analytics tools including Metabase and GA.
What you'll need
- Experience with consumer tech products (Fintech/ecommerce/social products).
- Familiarity with gamification design such as progression systems, achievement frameworks, and reward loops.
- Experience designing for CMS-driven storefronts with layouts dynamically configured by non-technical teams.
- Motion design skills using tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Rive.
Nice to have
- 5+ years in product design, including at least 2 years designing UX in consumer fintech/social/ecommerce apps.
- Experience shipping consumer-facing mobile apps (iOS/Android) at scale.
- Comfort with compliance-driven UX and trust-building patterns and transaction-state communication.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping) and responsive web design.
- Ability to design for complex state management across payment and commerce flows.
