Product Manager I

Overview

Product Manager I for AlphaSense, focused on owning parts of the Transactions content pipeline for M&A deals and rounds of funding.

What you'll do

• Own components of the Transactions content pipeline, including content generation and integration.
• Conduct POCs with engineering to optimize implementation costs, automation, and timelines.
• Run regular team meetings and performance reviews to track progress and address challenges.
• Support market launches by creating announcements, documentation, and user/internal training materials.
• Serve as an escalation point for data integrity and methodology issues.
• Track industry trends and deliver competitive intelligence to evolve product vision.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in content strategy, product, or operations related to financial data.
• At least 5 years of product or process managerial experience.
• Experience in transactions and valuations (strong preference).
• Expertise in investment research and analysis, including company valuation techniques and financial reporting.
• Hands-on leadership designing and maintaining a production-grade, scalable reference database framework.
• Proficiency with Claude Code or a database query language such as SQL (must-have).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making with a results-oriented mindset in new content R&D.
• Masters in Commerce degree (with a strong academic record).

Nice to have

• Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst certification (significant plus).
