Product Owner, VP

Overview

Product Owner (Vice President) for a digital payments product focused on transaction and fund settlement capabilities.

What you'll do

• Own and drive the digital journey, including performance management, service proposition, and customer experience.
• Set the vision for features related to transactions and fund settlement.
• Own the digital roadmap and manage, define, and prioritize the digital backlog.
• Prioritize and deliver improvements using customer, stakeholder, market, and risk information.
• Drive transaction and settlement capability across performance management and customer/colleague experience.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver and monitor KPIs for customer and colleague experience.
• Ensure continuous improvements are delivered within agreed budgets and write user stories for engineering delivery.

What you'll need

• Previous experience working in a Scrum or Agile team.
• Successful track record in digital delivery and operations.
• Experience with digital capability management and human-centred design.
• Understanding of business customer needs and how to serve them digitally.
• Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and proactively manage a backlog with engineering.
• Familiarity with digital product management techniques such as Lean start-up.
• Experience in merchant acquiring with expertise across transaction processing, authorization flows, and end-to-end settlement.
