Product Stewardship Specialist I

Overview

Product Stewardship Specialist responsible for regulatory compliance, hazard communication, Safety Data Sheet and label management, and product stewardship processes for chemical products.

What you'll do

• Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets and product labels.
• Classify materials and manage labeling, including dangerous goods classifications.
• Provide regulatory approval for product creation, extensions, and translations.
• Support material screening, Management of Change, and Notification of Change processes.
• Respond to customer, supplier, and internal regulatory inquiries.
• Manage product and substance data in SAP and related systems.
• Track compliance metrics and contribute to process improvements.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of relevant experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or related industry.
• 3+ years of experience in product stewardship, regulatory compliance, EHS, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or related work.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Pharmacy, or a master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.
• Experience authoring Safety Data Sheets and understanding GHS and regional regulations.
• Ability to define requirements and implement processes in relevant systems and tools.
• Good English verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and standard office computer skills.

Nice to have

• SAP EHS experience.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations, preferably IATA.
• Continuous improvement or project management skills.
