Professional Services Engineer

Overview

The Professional Services Engineer installs, deploys, upgrades, maintains, and troubleshoots NICE products and platforms at customer sites. The role supports commissioning, testing, certification, integrations, and customer technical guidance.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, upgrade, and deploy NICE products and platforms.
• Apply hotfixes, service packs, and product updates.
• Participate in commissioning, testing, and certification activities.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and upgrade issues.
• Draft implementation and upgrade plans with pre-check and post-check steps.
• Maintain system documentation, specifications, and configuration records.
• Manage technical cases according to severity and SLA requirements.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise application installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and routing.
• SQL database administration and scripting skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and root-cause identification.
• Strong verbal and written customer communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and work shifts or outside standard business hours.

Nice to have

• NICE product experience.
• VoIP, CTI, and telephony systems experience.
• Familiarity with PBX, ACD, and CTI integrations.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, networking, databases, or telephony.
